# Your newsletter can talk now

Hey there,

Starting today you can connect Commune to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any assistant that supports MCP, and ask your newsletter questions in plain language.

Setup takes a minute: add https://api.usecommune.com/mcp as a connector in your assistant and approve the consent screen. No code. More details at [usecommune.dev](https://usecommune.dev).

Four things worth asking on a Monday morning:

1. Who am I about to lose? "Check my Commune newsletter for readers I'm about to lose. For each one, give email, what they stopped doing and when they were last active. Strongest first, top twenty."
2. What should I write next? "Read what readers said about my three latest issues: discussion, highlights and reader-started conversations. Suggest three topics for my next issue. Quote the reply or passage and say how many readers raised it."
3. Who are my superfans? "Find my superfans. List each with score, engagement movement and last active. Mark who's new since last week and who's cooling off."
4. How did my last issue do? Ask it straight. It pulls opens, clicks, likes, highlights and replies into one answer.

If you like building things, there's also a full API with webhooks. Everything is documented at [usecommune.dev](https://usecommune.dev), including copy-paste versions of these workflows.

A note on what works where. Reading and analysing works on every newsletter connected to Commune. Writing, scheduling and sending through your assistant needs your newsletter to send with Commune. If you've been thinking about moving over, reply and I'll help with the migration myself.

Looking forward to seeing what you build with it.

Cheers ✌️
